Swing Jazz Band coupled with local swing dance teachers makes for a fine evening of dance, music and celebration. Wren Bethan (vocals) Rosco Dwyer (Guitar) Dave Restrict (trumpet) Olly Watkins (Drums) and Grant (Double Bass).

Femmonics 

Femmonics women's choir is led by choral mistress Wren in Denmark WA. Dropping into sound, harmony, and connected vibration weekly. Singing ceremony and offerings to the land and waters regularly.

Understory

4-part vocal group. Four friends vocally harmonize the masculine and feminine in tender balance, held by the wondrous abundant boodja upon which they live. Laura 'flower mumma' Egan, Brucey 'bush school' Anthony, Ashley 'collector of male voices' Schipp and Wren 'song dragon' Bethan come together to share with you some sounds and stories that resonate from the space that exists between the tree tops and the roots below, the place we all exist - the Understory.

KOONDARM CHOIR

Co-founders: Wren Thomas & Kobi Morrison

Koondarm (translates to 'Dreaming' in Noongar) is led by awesome Noongar musician Kobi Morrison singing songs predominantly in Australian Aboriginal languages.

STRING SISTAS

A collaboration born in Denmark (WA) combining Wren (guitar + vocals), and Marie (violin + vocals) performing a cauldron of covers and some improvised songs.

 

Performed:

St Leonards church at Denmark Festival of Voice July '22 as a trio with Courtenay Stickels (vocals). 

The Dam on New Years Eve 22/23 with Mark Gretton on drums. 

78s CAFE JAZZ 

The 78s came together under the stairs at Moore and Moore Cafe in Fremantle, Western Australia a few years back and have enjoyed playing jazzy tunes together ever since.

 

The band is an eclectic group ranging in age from 18-96 who were brought together by a love of swing jazz!
